ABOUT us
Founded in 1961 by local metalsmith Otto F. Dingeldein, the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri has championed creativity and community for more than six decades. As Missouri's oldest arts council, we are proud of our legacy of supporting and celebrating the arts throughout our region.
The mission of the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri is to provide a forum for residents and artists of the Southeast Missouri region to share, explore, and experience in the diversity and excitement of the visual, literary, performing, and culinary arts.

Programming made possible by…
Arts Council of Southeast Missouri
Programs, events, and exhibitions are made possible through the generosity of people who believe young artists deserve opportunities to create, to exhibit, and be celebrated. By making a donation or becoming an Arts Council member, you are directly supporting exhibitions, educational programs, community events, and experiences that bring the arts to people throughout Southeast Missouri. Your support helps us keep creating spaces where the next generation of artists can shine.
