The Happy Campers Project

The Happy Campers Project is the Arts Council's annual summer art camp for students ages 6–13. Designed to foster creativity and artistic growth, the program offers classes in a variety of visual art mediums, including ceramics, drawing, and painting. Students are divided into two age groups to provide an engaging, age-appropriate learning environment that encourages confidence, creativity, and individual expression.

What is it?

    Students ages 6–9 will explore traditional ceramic techniques, while students ages 10–13 will work with 3D mixed-media processes.

    Get ready to splash, squish, smear, and explore! This classis a high-energy mixed-media art camp where kids experiment with paint, clay, texture, and other creative materials. Creativity comes first—and clean hands come last!

  • About the Camp
    Explore the exciting world of cartooning, anime, and comic books! Students will learn fundamental drawing techniques, character design, visual storytelling, and illustration skills while creating their own original artwork.
