Art Classes for Adults with Disabilities
What is Artism?
Artism is an in-gallery art program for adults with disabilities, offered through partnerships with organizations including Blue Sky Community Services and Morning Star Behavioral Associates. The program provides a welcoming, creative environment where participants can explore artistic expression while building confidence and community. Classes are led by local artists and educators who are passionate about making the arts accessible to everyone.
What Do Students Learn?
Students learn a variety of artistic techniques while expressing themselves through hands-on projects tailored to a range of ability levels. Along the way, they develop fine motor skills, build creative confidence, and discover that their disability does not define their artistic potential.
