Whether you’re looking to join, give, exhibit, attend, or just figure out how something works, you’re in the right place.

Send us an email! We are always welcoming volunteers, new members, and new artists into our community. We’d love to get you plugged in!
If you would like to exhibit your work monthly in the Arts Council gallery space, please apply to join the Visual Arts Cooperative. This is a juried process, so please expect a response no earlier than 4-6 weeks after your submission.

If you are looking for opportunities to show your work in juried exhibitions in Cape Girardeau or surrounding communities, please check our website for open calls.

If you would like your contact information to be added to a database for potential solo exhibitions, please fill out the form here. Your information will be shared with local galleries, businesses, or organizations who would like to feature artwork in their space.
No, we are not qualified to assess any artwork. This is called appraising and you actually have to have a license to do so! While we can’t tell you how much it’s worth we do have some friends who can.

Our staff consists of two employees, so we are rarely hiring. We do not take applications unless a job is immediately available, which will be announced on our website and social media.
If you are interested in an internship, please fill out this internship request form. Serious inquiries only, we will not respond to vague or incomplete requests.
We suggest you volunteer with our organization if you are interested in working with us. This is a great way to see what we do firsthand and create relationships within our community!
