“How can I show my artwork at the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri?”

We love being able to display monthly exhibitions in our galleries! There are four main ways for an individual artist to display their artwork with us: Become a Member, Enter a Juried Exhibition, Apply for a Full-Gallery Exhibit, and to Join the Visual Arts Cooperative.

“Are you hiring?”

We are a really small team so usually we aren’t hiring or taking applications, but if jobs become available we post those on our homepage and send out a call for applications as well! We do hire interns regularly and also are always in need of volunteers. Check out more info on volunteering here.

“I found this painting at a garage sale, can you tell me how much its worth?”

The short answer is, no. This is called appraising and you actually have to have a license to do so! While we can’t tell you how much it’s worth we do have some friends who can.
