|Avenue of Art – Street Painting Competition at the River Campus

June 18th, 2016 – 10am
FREE for ALL AGES
*Artist will enter the day of the festival.
Artwork will be judged by Craig Thomas, professional street painter.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum, Craig Thomas will also create his own piece during the festival.
- Each artist will be given a box of 24 soft pastels and a concrete space of up to 6’ x 6’
- Image must be contained within the square
- Children under the age of 6 will have access to chalk and will be encouraged to draw (they will not be adjudicated.)
- Hat, sunscreen, image or rendering, yardstick, tape measure, chalk line, latex gloves, pillow, carpet square or kneeling pad, kneepads, water, and lunch*, additional pastels depending on supplies
*Chartwells food and drink will be available for purchase
(Cash prizes will be awarded)
- Children ages 6 -12
- Children ages 13 – 17
- Adults age 18 and over
- Best farm theme

Plein Air Painting Competition – Summer Arts Festival at the River Campus

Canvas stamped – 8-8:30am at the Crisp Museum
Painting – 8am-12pm
Entry fee - $15 per canvas
Step outside and experience artists capturing nature, history, and the entertainment of River Campus arts.
Works will be displayed in the lobby of the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum during the afternoon.
