Jeanie Eddleman Art Studio showcases the graphite drawings of Jeanie Eddleman. She specializes in Cape Girardeau County and southeast Missouri memorabilia. Jeanie Eddleman Art Studio also represents the photography of Dr. Joel Ray in the southeast Missouri area.

Jeanie Eddleman
Jeanie Eddleman’s graphite drawings mostly focus on historic photographs of Southeast Missouri buildings. She also draws portraits, animals, and nature. Among her accomplishments, she has self-published two books that are in the Library of Congress: Images in Bollinger County and Shadows of Cape Girardeau County Yesteryears. Her art is in collections in thirty-nine states and eighteen foreign countries. Best of Missouri Hands juried member, Eddleman is also President of the Cat Ranch Art Guild and Chairman of the Board of the Tom Runnels Memorial Scholarship Fund. She works at promoting the Cat Ranch Art Guild artists and creating the development of a networking system between artists and art groups in the Southeast Missouri area.

Joel Ray M.D., F.A.C.S.
As the owner of the former WESTRAY Studio, neurosurgeon, and Missouri Arts Council board member, Dr. Joel Ray has gained local and statewide recognition for his shots of the construction of the Bill Emerson Bridge. He was appointed by former Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson to create photo essays on multiple federal projects. Since the genesis of his photographic explorations in 2000, Dr. Ray has won multiple awards including the State of Missouri’s highest photography award. The WESTRAY Photography School for Kids 501(c)3 collaborates with area schools and the Missouri Department of Conservation encouraging the expansion of digital photography. Dr. Ray’s work pursues life, science and nature. His work explores the art and technical components of digital photography.
